Understanding these connections - and being able to measure them in the field - is essential for conservation, agriculture and public health.
In this lesson you will learn the hierarchy from populations to ecosystems, practise the quadrat technique for estimating population size and distribution, and explore how abiotic and biotic factors shape the communities we observe in nature.
