Transformation Geometry

Transformations move, flip, turn or resize shapes on the coordinate plane. Understanding the four types and being able to describe them fully is a core Edexcel skill that appears frequently on both papers.
You will learn to perform and describe reflections, rotations, translations and enlargements. Three of these preserve the size of the shape (producing a congruent image), while enlargement changes the size (producing a similar image).
