In the book of Acts in the New Testament, the converts in Samaria received the Holy Spirit through the laying of hands by the apostles. Shadrach is the person who refused to worship the image set up by Nebuchadnezzar. According to the Bible in the book of Daniel, Shadrach was one of the three Hebrews who were brought to Babylon and served in the court of Nebuchadnezzar.
