None of the three has ever met the other two, and yet the meal on that desk needed all of them. That chain, and the decision that started it, is what this whole course is about.
In this lesson you will pin down what a business actually is and what its purpose really is, which is not the answer most people give first. You will meet the four factors of production and the reward each one earns, learn to sort any business into the primary, secondary or tertiary sector and explain why the three sectors depend on each other, and work out what makes someone an entrepreneur rather than simply an employee with ideas. You will finish with the single most examinable idea in the whole section: that the world a business trades in will not sit still for it.
