Density And Pressure

A drawing pin and an elephant's foot can push with very different forces, yet the pin is the one that goes through the board. The difference is not the force at all, it is how much area that force is spread over.

In this lesson you will learn how to calculate density and pressure, why a sharp point concentrates a force so effectively, and why the pressure at a point inside a still liquid or gas pushes equally hard in every direction.
