Evaluation
Muhtasari
The new system is built, tested, documented and in use, but the job is not over. Did it actually solve the problem it was meant to solve? Evaluation is the stage that asks that honest question, judging the finished system against the requirements set out right back at the start. It is the point where the systems life cycle bends back on itself, because what evaluation finds can send the team back to redesign or improve the system.
In this lesson you will learn how to evaluate a solution by judging its efficiency, ease of use and appropriateness, how to compare the finished system against the original task requirements, and how to gather users' responses through observation, interviews and questionnaires. You will see how identifying limitations leads to improvements and closes the loop of the life cycle.
Malengo
- Evaluate a solution.
- Evaluate a solution including the efficiency of the solution, the ease of use of the solution, and the appropriateness of the solution Compare the solution with the original task requirements, identify any limitations and necessary improvements to the system, evaluate the users’ responses to the results of testing the system.
