b) There are several hindrances to the eradication of cultism in Nigeria. These include:
- Poor enforcement of laws: The laws against cultism are not effectively enforced.
- Corruption: Some law enforcement officers are corrupt and often compromise when dealing with cultists.
- Societal acceptance: Some members of the society see cultism as a norm and this makes it difficult to eradicate.

- Abuse of power: If they are in power, they may use state resources to their advantage.

b) Several measures could be taken to checkmate desperate politicians from winning elections at all cost. These include:
- Strengthening of electoral laws: The electoral laws should be strengthened to punish electoral offenses.
- Voter education: Voters should be educated on the dangers of selling their votes.
- Independent judiciary: The judiciary should be independent to adjudicate electoral disputes fairly.
- Security: Adequate security should be provided during elections to prevent violence and intimidation.

b) Inter-communal relationships promote community development in Nigeria in several ways. First, they foster unity and

peaceful environment for development. Second, inter-communal relationships encourage cooperation. Communities
can work together to achieve common goals, such as building infrastructure or improving education. Third, they
promote cultural exchange. This can lead to a better understanding and appreciation of different cultures, which can in
turn lead to more harmonious coexistence. Fourth, inter-communal relationships can lead to economic growth/When

- Justice: Civic education instills the value of justice in individuals, teaching them to be fair in all their dealings.
- Rule of law: It teaches the importance of laws and the need to abide by them.
- Patriotism: Civic education instills a sense of patriotism in individuals, making them love and respect their country.

b) Citizenship education plays a crucial role in nation-building in the following ways:
