Overzicht
By this point in the strand you have chosen an issue, researched it, weighed the different views on it, planned it, and delivered it, and you have learned how to evaluate what happened honestly. This closing lesson steps back to the bigger picture: the full range of ways citizens actually create change, from one person's shopping choices to an international campaign, and how your own project fits into that wider landscape.
The running example is new: a school campaign to move the canteen towards fair-trade ingredients and less single-use plastic, followed from a student's individual choice through to a school-wide change. It is chosen because it touches consumer action, volunteering, campaigning, environmental protection and even a small piece of social enterprise, all in one project, which makes it a useful lens for pulling the whole strand together.
