Online Working From Home
Overzicht
Working from home was once a rare arrangement reserved for a small number of roles, but advances in digital devices and internet connectivity have made it a realistic option for millions of people worldwide. From video conferencing to cloud-based document editing, the technology that enables remote work is now part of everyday life.
In this lesson you will explore how digital technologies make home working possible, weigh the benefits and drawbacks for both individuals and organisations, and consider the data security challenges that come with accessing company resources from outside the office. These are themes Edexcel frequently tests in the Operating Online section of Paper 1.
