When two quantities are plotted against each other, the pattern of points often tells a story: as one goes up, does the other go up, go down, or do neither? That pattern is correlation, and a line of best fit captures the trend.
In this lesson you will describe the correlation shown by a scatter plot as positive, negative or none, draw a line of best fit, and use it to make predictions.
