A wave is described by only a handful of numbers: how long it is, how often it repeats, how fast it moves and what angle it strikes a surface at. Each of those numbers is useless without the unit that goes with it, and the Waves section leans on just five of them.
This lesson sets out the degree, the hertz, the metre, the metre per second and the second: what each one measures, which are built from the others, how to move between prefixes such as MHz and nm, and how a quick unit check can catch a wrong answer before the examiner does.
