Across the world, billions of people hold deep religious faiths, while a growing number describe themselves as having no religion, and everyone, believer or not, carries values they live by. When these values meet, in a classroom, a workplace or a nation, the result can be rich understanding or sharp conflict.
In this lesson you will learn to think about values and beliefs the Global Perspectives way: with curiosity and respect, not judgement. You will weigh why the topic matters worldwide, set the personal, national and global perspectives side by side, balance the arguments in debates such as how far the state should keep out of religion, and judge fair courses of action. By the end you will be able to frame a sharp, sensitive report question and back it with current, reliable evidence.
