The set of rivers that enter the sea through estuaries is: The Thames, Zaire and Plate. An estuary is a partially enclosed body of water where freshwater from rivers and streams mixes with saltwater from the ocean. The Thames, Zaire (also known as the Congo), and Plate rivers all have estuaries where they meet the ocean. The Ganges and Columbia rivers, in flow into the ocean but do not have estuaries, while the Nile, Rhine, and St. Lawrence rivers, in do not have estuaries where they meet the sea. The Niger river, in flows into the Gulf of Guinea but does not have an estuary at its mouth.
