Electromagnetic Induction

Every power station, every bicycle dynamo and every wireless charger relies on the same principle: moving a conductor through a magnetic field (or changing the field through a conductor) generates a voltage. This is electromagnetic induction.

In this lesson you will learn how an induced voltage is produced, how generators use rotating magnets or coils to generate electricity, and what factors affect the size of the induced voltage.
