Pressing the shutter is free, which means the skill being assessed is not capture. It is deciding what to point the camera at, what to do with light when you get there, and which six of eight hundred frames actually say the thing you meant.
Your Personal Portfolio has to make that invisible work visible. Contact sheets with the selections marked and the reasons written. Shoot plans made before you went. Technical trials where you changed one setting at a time and can prove what it did. A sequence, not a pile. This note covers what each assessment objective looks like in contact sheets and prints, and why the editing decisions carry more marks than the camera ever will.
