Finally, sin can prevent us from doing the will of God. When we allow sin to take hold in our lives, it can cloud our judgment and lead us away from God's plans and purposes for us.

(a) Solomon's prayer during the dedication of the temple is recorded in 1 Kings 8:22-53.
