When they emerged unharmed, even their clothes untouched by fire, the king was amazed and declared that the God of the Jews was the true God. This episode demonstrates the complete trust in God that the three men had, even in the face of death, and God's ability to save his servants who have faith in Him. It also highlights the power of God and the weakness of earthly kings, who cannot compare to the Almighty God.
