Globalisation has lifted hundreds of millions of people out of poverty and closed factories in towns that never recovered. Both sentences are true. Migration fills hospital rotas and empties villages. Tourism funds national parks and prices local families out of their own neighbourhoods. This topic is about who gains, who pays, and why the answer is different depending on where you stand.
You will work through the impacts of globalisation on different groups of people including host countries of transnational corporations, then the impacts of the five types of migration on origin areas, destination areas and migrants themselves, and finally the environmental, economic and social effects of mass tourism. The skill throughout is arguing both sides properly before reaching a judgement.
