The bush was burning with fire, but it was not consumed. It was from this bush that God spoke to Moses and gave him the command to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

Jesus surrendered to his enemies when he was arrested at the Gethsemane because the scripture must be fulfilled. In the story, Jesus was preaching in a crowded house when four men came carrying a paralytic on a mat.
