Resumen
Every year millions of people pack up their lives and cross a border, some chasing higher wages, others fleeing war or disaster. Migration has built cosmopolitan cities such as London and New York and reshaped the cultures of whole continents. But who moves, why, and who gains or loses when they do?
This lesson sorts migrants into clear types, explains the push and pull factors that drive them, and weighs the impacts on the migrants themselves, their country of origin and their destination. You will study Mexico to the United States in detail and see how governments try to manage these flows.
