Personal Portfolio
Resumen
Photography is the only endorsement where the machine will happily make a thousand competent images while you learn nothing. Pressing the shutter is free, which means the skill being assessed is not capture. It is deciding what to point the camera at, what to do with light when you get there, and which six of eight hundred frames actually say the thing you meant.
Your Personal Portfolio has to make that invisible work visible. Contact sheets with the selections marked and the reasons written. Shoot plans made before you went. Technical trials where you changed one setting at a time and can prove what it did. A sequence, not a pile. This note covers what each assessment objective looks like in contact sheets and prints, and why the editing decisions carry more marks than the camera ever will.

- Create a personal portfolio of work demonstrating knowledge, understanding and skills for Photography
- Develop and explore ideas in response to centre-devised themes, projects or tasks
- Research primary and contextual sources
- Experiment with media, materials, techniques and processes
- Present personal responses to themes set by the centre
- Submit three sheets of supporting studies (maximum A2) and one sheet of final outcome(s) (maximum A2)
