The Internet And The World Wide Web
Resumen
People say 'the internet' and 'the web' as if they mean the same thing, but they do not. One is a global network of cables and devices; the other is the collection of web pages that ride on top of it. Knowing the difference, and the exact chain of events that turns a typed address into a displayed page, is at the heart of this topic.
In this lesson you will learn what a URL is, how HTTP and HTTPS differ, what a web browser does, the step-by-step journey from typing a URL to seeing a page (including the role of the DNS), and how session and persistent cookies remember things about you.
Objetivos
